Is Netflix going to kill unlimited streaming?

"You are currently in the Unlimited Streaming plan with unlimited time to watch instantly"

Does any part of that sentence sound strange to you? I think it sounds strangely suspicious. Netflix streaming has always been unlimited, why have they changed it now to include "Unlimited Streaming" with unlimited time? I foresee Netflix bringing about tiered streaming plans, much like AT&T and Verizon have. Maybe one for 50 Hours, 100 Hours, 200 Hours, and unlimited, costing maybe two dollars more for each additional tier.

Even if this isn't exactly what they're planning, a tiered streaming service would not be good for consumers. The only way I could see this being a good thing, is if they make the lower hour plans cheaper than the 8 dollars a month, and unlimited stays the same price. That actually might be nice for people that like to watch only a few movies a month. I severely doubt that will be the case, however. 

Jelly bean

Today sprint finally upgraded my galaxy nexus to jelly bean, and its quite possibly the best thing ever. I've fallen in love with the OS, it makes android awesome and I think it's the coolest thing. I recently discovered a cool hidden feature of jelly bean.  When the gnex came out, it got rid of the standard built in search button, And I liked to use that to search from anywhere. So with jelly bean, they brought it back, but in a sneaky way. All you have to do is drag up onto the screen from below the home button, and a little Google symbol will pop up, just like on the lock screen. It brings you right into the Google search bar where you can type or voice search just like normal.

Its been a long time

Other than the fact that Cake is now stuck in my head, I feel that the title is a good one. I haven't posted a blog in several months, but i hope now i can get back into it and find some more cool shit.

Item number one:

I am now living in Indy and going to IUPUI, and I LOVE it. Indy is such an amazing city. I've already gotten a job here and it only took me two days. Im working at the Pita Pit, and i have to say, its delicious, and everyone there is awesome. I never want to go back to Muncie again. (Unless its for that awesome indian food place, Sitara)

Item number two:

I just discovered a new social networking site called Zurker. Personally, I'm very against social media, but this site is quite cool, because the users actually own the site. Its still an invite only site (much like Pinterest and google+ when they opened) but its is an awesome site that needs to gain some popularity. You can easily get an invite from me right here.

Item number three:

I upgraded my phone to the Galaxy Nexus, and i am loving it. It's definitely the best android phone out there. Im mad that Sprint doesn't have the Jelly Bean update out yet, but they did just send me a free battery for it, minus the cost of shipping it.

So basically...Life's good!

Wellp

Today I found out my bike was stolen. I went to to bus station to catch the greyhound to valpo and when I got back it wasn't there anymore. I'm pretty mad about this. I loved that bike. It was awesome. Classic look, semi fixed gear, nice shifter and balance, and everything was just how I liked it. I'm definitely going to miss it. Good bye bike.

Now I guess I'll keep checking craigslist until I see a nice bike that I like. I saw a really cool one but I don't feel like dropping 300 on a bike right now.

Using the bus to get around in Muncie really sucks. It's never on time. It's either 5 minutes early or 20 minutes late, and it always pulls away from my apartment right before I'm about to walk out the door. I hate it so much. I wish I still has my bike. :/

On the plus side my girlfriend has been spending the week here wih me, and we just got delicious Indian food, so I'm okay with that.

The weekend

This weekend I've been home visiting with my girlfriend, and I've decided that it's been a very good weekend. It's been three weeks since we've seen eachother, and thanks to Skype, it's been a lot easier to deal with, but it's still great to be with her. We watched 101 Dalmatians, and my little pony, and house hunters. The people on that show are so dumb! They set a budget for how much they want to spend, but they almost always go over budget, even if it's not the nicest house or exactly what they want.

I haven't posted in a while, almost a week! That's not too good. But what are you gonna do eh? Things pile up and you get too busy to do that things you like. But such is life. Hopefully things get better before they get much worse. Oh well. I'm looking forward to the day when I get to yell at little kids for trespassing on my property. :D

That feel

Have you ever had a feeling like you just weren't important? That everything you're doing has no point? That anything you do is bound to fail, no matter what? That your whole life you're just going to be a sad pile of worthless person? I'm definitely feeling that right now. Like I'm a huge failure that can't do anything right. I'm bound to work a minimum wage job because I failed highschool and can't do anything productive with my life. Well I haven't failed yet but if things keep going the way they are, I'm sure I won't be far away from it. I'm slowly spiraling farther and farther down and the farther down you go the harder it is to get back up. Pretty soon its going to be impossible to fix anything that I've done wrong. I'm sick and tired of failing everything I do. I'm tired of not having any motivation at all to do anything. It makes me so mad that I can't do the things that I'm supposed to do, yet I do nothing about it. I just don't know how to fix everything I've destroyed. I've lost my will to keep going. I'm not going to kill myself or anything but I just hate where I am and what I'm doing right now. It's just really frustrating.

A Gaggle of Geese and Ganders

So the other day I decided to make a post every night before bed. Last night I didn't do that. I guess I'm not very good at doing what I say I'm going to do, huh?

Well I replaced the phone I accidentally bricked, so thats a good thing. ordered an otterbox case so it won't get damaged anymore. :D

Playing Magic the Gathering at 2 in the morning is pretty fun, especially when you're playing with someone who hasn't played in 10 years and has a deck that isn't as powerful as yours. HAHAHA! I win 3-0. I'm sure next time we battle things will be very different, because he'll trick out his deck with some cards to beat me.

God Muncie is so borring. There is nothing to do here, unless you like to party, which im not too big on. It's kind of depressing.
